What the app does

  • Your movies and shows with posters, and every episode in order
  • Your files and folders, as in the dashboard
  • Picks up where you stopped on any other screen
  • Subtitles, and up next for the following episode
  • Search across your library
  • Videos at their original quality, not converted down

Set it up

  3. Scan the QR code with your phone, or go to fastwater.app/link on a phone or computer and sign in.

Good to know on Google TV and Android TV

  • Videos play at their original quality, including 4K HEVC on devices that decode it. On one that can't, Fastwater makes an H.264 copy the first time you play the video there.

Questions

Is there a Put.io alternative with an Android TV app?
Yes. Fastwater works like Put.io: paste a magnet link or add a .torrent file, and it downloads to your private cloud. Its own Google TV and Android TV app plays your library. Plans start at $6.99 a month for 200 GB. Standard is 1 TB for $9.99 a month. Every plan includes the TV apps, and every trial is free for 3 days.
Does the Android TV app cost extra?
No. The app is free with any Fastwater plan. Plans start at $6.99 a month for 200 GB. Standard is 1 TB for $9.99 a month. Every plan includes the TV apps, and every trial is free for 3 days.
Can I add downloads from the TV?
Not from the TV app. Add a magnet link or a .torrent file in the dashboard on a phone or computer, or from Putflix, ChatGPT, or Claude. It shows up on the TV when it's ready.
How many TVs can play at once?
Lite plays on 2 screens, Standard plays on 4 screens, Pro plays on 8 screens at the same time. You can link as many TVs as you like.
