Watch Fastwater in Infuse

Infuse plays almost any format and fills in artwork and metadata. Add Fastwater as a WebDAV share and it lists your whole library, picking up new transfers on its own.

Works on Apple TV, iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

Before you start

WebDAV is on the Standard and Pro plans. On the Apps page, press Set up on Infuse: it creates a key for this app and shows these steps with your details filled in.

Connection details

Server
https://fastwater.app/dav/
Username
fastwater (any name works)
Password
Your WebDAV key

For an app without a password field, use the link with the key in it, https://fastwater.app/dav/YOUR_KEY/, and keep it secret.

Steps

In Infuse: Settings, Shares, Add Share, WebDAV. Address fastwater.app, path /dav/, HTTPS on, port 443, then the username and password above. Infuse then lists your whole library with artwork and picks up new transfers on its own.

Good to know

  • Files are read-only. Add and delete them in Fastwater.
  • Files open through a redirect to a signed storage link, so the app must follow redirects. Every app in these guides does.
  • WebDAV does not save watch progress to Fastwater. Each app keeps its own.
  • Create one key per app, so you can sign one out alone under TV and devices.
