Watch Fastwater in Kodi

Add Fastwater to Kodi as a network source over WebDAV, then play from it like any other folder.

Works on Android TV, Fire TV, Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Before you start

WebDAV is on the Standard and Pro plans. On the Apps page, press Set up on Kodi: it creates a key for this app and shows these steps with your details filled in.

Connection details

Server
https://fastwater.app/dav/
Username
fastwater (any name works)
Password
Your WebDAV key

For an app without a password field, use the link with the key in it, https://fastwater.app/dav/YOUR_KEY/, and keep it secret.

Steps

Videos, Files, Add videos, Browse, Add network location. Protocol WebDAV server (HTTPS), server fastwater.app, remote path dav/, then the username and password above.

Add it to your library

After the source is added, open its context menu in Videos, Files, choose Set content, and pick Movies or TV shows. Kodi then fetches artwork and lists the videos in its library.

Good to know

  • Files are read-only. Add and delete them in Fastwater.
  • Files open through a redirect to a signed storage link, so the app must follow redirects. Every app in these guides does.
  • WebDAV does not save watch progress to Fastwater. Each app keeps its own.
  • Create one key per app, so you can sign one out alone under TV and devices.
